Double Fine’s Grim Fandango Coming to PlayStation
You read that correctly. Grim Fandango, one of the very best adventure games ever made, is being remastered for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. That’s it. We can stop now. E3 is as good as over.
Little Sally T wants to be able to play some of the best games, but unfortunately she’s too young to have been there when they were first released. That’s why she sent a letter to Sony begging that they do something about this. Forget that Little Sally T is actually a cleverly disguised Tim Schaffer.
Teaming up with Double Fine, Grim Fandango – the video game representation of a Mexican-flavoured afterlife – will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita. Although there was no more information released, you can bet that it’ll look fantastic, that the puzzles will be as devilish as ever, and that I’ll be working my way towards that damn platinum (and it had better have one!).
For older gamers, this is a chance to walk back down memory lane, hopefully with the original voice work and fixed glitches. Grim Fandango, under some circumstances, was unfinishable on PC until it was patched by fans.
Grim Fandango will be available to purchase hopefully in the very near future.
