State of Decay DLC ‘Lifeline’ receives release date
Undead Labs – the developer behind State of Decay – have announced today via a blog post on their website that their zombie resource gathering survival game will indeed be updated with a new DLC release at the end of the month, May 30th.
The new DLC named ‘Lifeline’ will again centre around a small group of survivors, with a new storyline and setting being promised. This time players take control of a military group called Greyhound One, “…a small surviving unit that has been sent to the fallen city of Danforth to rescue scientists whose research is critical to fighting the outbreak”. Undead Labs have also teased other additions to the game include more weapons, different defences for the survivor groups base of operations, the ability to haul supplies back to base using a vehicle (instead of just on foot), as well as “…a few more surprises.”
Undead Labs pride themselves in exploring the varied perspectives of survivors and “…to find interesting people in the world of State of Decay whose lives we haven’t experienced yet, and see what it’s like to face the crisis from where they stand.”
State of Decay: Lifeline is due for release May 30th on Xbox Live arcade.
