Last of Us Demo unlocks today, First Review is in: “Gaming’s Citizen Kane”
The Last of Us demo unlocks today, good news for those that bought God of War: Ascension almost three months ago on the promise of the demo being included inside the box. Still, the wait is over, and you’ll soon be able to see what the fuss is about. It should go without saying that if you want to avoid spoilers ahead of its release date, you should probably avoid playing the demo, as well as reading impressions online.
More than that though, the first review has been released. Published on Edge, the 5/5 review was published far ahead of its embargo and has since been removed. Still, eagle-eyed fans managed to catch the gist of the review, and it’s more than positive.
“The Last of Us is not just the finest game that Naughty Dog has yet crafted and an easy contender for the best game of this console generation, it may also prove to be gaming’s Citizen Kane moment, a masterpiece that will be looked back upon favourably for decades.”
