Death Stranding – Release Date Reveal Trailer

A new trailer was released for the PS4 exclusive game Death Stranding today. I still have no idea what the game is about. However, the new trailer is amazing. Take a look and then please come back for my thoughts on the game.

We have more clues as to what Death Stranding is about but there still isn’t a clear picture of the game. The new trailer reveals a world where America isn’t around anymore and talks about bringing it back. There are mysterious new enemies and possible good guys too. Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) plays a character that seems to want to be a good guy, though he doesn’t believe in anything anymore.

We do see that Reedus character, Sam, goes on a journey to somewhere. And some actual gameplay is revealed in this trailer. There looks to be a lot of exploration in the game. The player can take out tools, for instance a ladder, that help with exploring. The most exciting reveal of the trailer though? Combat was shown off for the first time!

There is hand-to-hand combat in Death Stranding and also a point where Sam has a gun too. Not only that but Sam is shown riding a motorcycle! Exploration looks like its the most important part of the game but its great to see that there will be combat too.

And then there’s Death Stranding’s graphics. From its first reveal, the game looked great but this newest trailer reveals both cutscenes and actual in-game footage look spectacular. The characters in this game look so real. Death Stranding is absolutely beautiful.

Death Stranding comes out on November 8, 2019 for the Playstation 4. Are you looking forward to it?
