Snoop Dogg Announces your Kills in new Call of Duty DLC
Have you ever felt that Call of Duty could do with a little more street cred? Perhaps all those fat little suburban teenagers need balancing out, and Activision has just the solution. Very soon they’ll be releasing a brand new piece of DLC that allows you to alter your announcer’s voice so that it sounds less soldier and more Snoop.
Snoop Dogg, rapper and personality, might not seem the obvious choice for the new announcer pack, but it actually works quite well. He’s obviously as excited for it as Snoop can possibly be at this point, and clarified his position by saying what he liked best about the project was being involved in something that was “so hip and so hood.” It’s different, and he’s not trying to put on a character, but that’s what makes it work quite nicely. It’s an optional pack for people who want something completely left field.
The Snoop Dogg Voice Pack will be released on Xbox Live on April 22nd, with a later release on other platforms. It’ll be available at the relatively fair price of $2.99, only a dollar more than the other customization options already released. On top of Snoop, you’ll also be able to buy a Drill Instructor voice pack, some weapon camos and a couple of new soldiers.
