What’s New in Hyrule Warriors Legends

We all know that the number one question that will be asked when Hyrule Warriors Legends launches this week is, “Should I buy this game again if I already own it on Wii U?” Well, if you have read our review, you will see that our answer to that question is yes. But, don’t just take it form me. Nintendo of Canada General Manager and Senior Director, Pierre-Paul Trepanier, had this to say:

Newcomers will love the exciting action of Hyrule Warriors Legends, but the added features will even appeal to fans playing the game for a second time. This massive game is full of hours and hours of content and is the perfect experience to take with you on the go.

Although our review covers it in a bit more detail, here is what you can expect to find different when you load of Hyrule Warriors Legends on your 3DS:

Linkle: a new character to the Legend of Zelda Universe with her own backstory.
Wind Waker: characters from the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker make their appearance in Hyrule Warriors Legends. Plays as Tetra, Toon Link, or King Daphnes.
Swap Ability: players can now easily swap between characters simply by pressing their face on the lower 3DS screen.
Ocarina: players can play the ocarina to warp to owl statues (or another type of statue…play as Linkle to find out!).
