Relive Final Fantasy X’s Love Story for Valentine’s
If you’re a bit of an old softy and don’t mind laughing really uncomfortably in public, you’ll be desperate to relive the love story between Yuna and Tidus in Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. To get you in the mood, Square Enix have released a special trailer for the Final Fantasy X HD Collection showing off some of their favourite bits.
Set to Suteki Da Ni, the iconic vocal theme from Final Fantasy X, the above trailer contains hand-holding and even lip-rubbing, so those that aren’t fans of mush probably want to have a sick bag on standby. The rest of us can happily remember, perhaps with a tissue hid subtley up our sleeve, the fantastic adventure that we’re about to go on all over again, when Square released the HD collection next month.
As well as showing off some of the graphical improvements, the trailer also shows just how well the CGI has held up. Final Fantasy X looks fantastic back in the day, and those cutscenes are going to be even more beautiful when watched on a proper HDTV via HDMI. Square have obviously done a good job here, and I know I’m not the only one that can’t wait.
