Lots of new Products coming from Alcatel

If you’ve never heard of Alcatel, I’ll be sure to give you a pass, but that name was being talked about a lot on Saturday afternoon after the company announced a long line-up of new products that will be available in the next little while. From affordable smartphones and tablets, to more expensive phone options, Alcatel is working on catering to a few different economic backgrounds, rather than focusing on high end or low end devices. This move by Alcatel is phenomenal, in my opinion, and I hope that spreading their resources over a number of devices doesn’t end up biting them in the rear! We haven’t personally tested any of these products – and we will if given the chance – but from what we are hearing, things look pretty positive!

Alcatel 1T Tablets

Affordable tablets are a dime-a-dozen right now, but finding a GOOD affordable tablet is incredibly hard. Based on the specs provided to us by Alcatel PR, things are looking promising for the Alcatel 1T tablets, which will come as a 7 inch display model, and a 10 inch display model. Check out the images and specifications below:

Alcatel 1X, 3, 3V, 3X, and 5

While most companies are opting for one flagship cellphone – generally a regular sized and XL size – Alcatel is pumping out cellphones for all economic backgrounds and potential usage levels, from the Alcatel 1X to the Alcatel 5. The standard across all these devices is the 18:9 Full View display, which is not the standard in the industry as of yet. But how do all these phones break down? Let’s take a look!

Alcatel 5 Series: At under 300EUR, the Alcatel 5 represents the new resurgence in mid tiered cell phones. It might not have all the features of the iPhone X or the Samsung Galaxy S9, but for the price, it brings a lot of punch. According to Alcatel, these are phones for social media lovers, with a 13 MP front-facing camera with a secondary 5 MP 120-degree super wide-angle lens, and a whole suite of photo editing software for those looking to post pictures quick, without dropping them to a PC to edit. This cell phone comes complete with a finger print scanner, as well as facial recognition for unlocking your device, something you won’t find in mid-tiered systems.

Alcatel 3 Series and 1 Series: Has almost all the features of the 5 Series, although with a slight downgrade in the camera quality.

We hope to have more on the Alcatel devices soon, so stay tuned!
