Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae and Type-0 Get New Trailer
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has received a new trailer from Square Enix showing the gorier side of the game as well as some more of the action based elements of the gameplay in motion.
More importantly, the trailer shows what players will receive if they decide to preorder the game, which is a fully playable demo of Final Fantasy XV. Titled Episode Duscae, Final Fantasy XV looks absolutely gorgeous and is set to bring back the glory that many fans of the series have long since forgotten in light of the large disapproval of the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy.
The trailer for Episode Duscae starts out with the rather familiar Final Fantasy theme reminding its viewers that even though Final Fantasy XV seems to be the most realistic take on the franchise, it is still very much a Final Fantasy game. Everything from the character’s clothing movements as they run, the wind in their hair, and the lighting effects on the Behemoth are truly incredible. It’s pretty unique to see roads, signs, and buildings without the fantasy flare that is accustomed to the Final Fantasy aesthetic.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is an HD remaster of the 2011 PSP Japanese only release which will come in both standard and limited editions. Both editions will include English and Japanese voice tracks for all regions, and a voucher for a demo of Final Fantasy XV Duscae which will only be available with the first-print editions of the game. The limited editions will also include card replicas used by one of the protagonists in Type-0 Ace, an English translation of the game’s prequel manga, a steelbook for the game disc, a soundtrack selection, and an 80 page artbook.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae will be available on March 17 for Xbox One and Playstation 4.
