Goofy has Recorded Lines for Kingdom Hearts 3, Reveals Release Date
The third entry in the Kingdom Hearts franchise may be further along than expected if tweets from Goofy voice actor Bill Farmer is anything to go by.
The Disney actor took to Twitter to answer questions about the next game in the franchise, pointing out that he has finished all his voice work.
Voice acting tends to be one of the last things done in a game’s development, usually being spliced in long after general design commences.
He also said that his understanding was that Kingdom Hearts 3 would be releasing in 2015. This isn’t entirely surprising if you go by the release of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5, but comments from creator Tetsuya Nomura and a complete lack of marketing make it a slightly difficult thing to believe.
The tweets have since been deleted, replaced with a simple post that says “The release date for Kingdom Hearts Three has not been announced yet!”
Images of the tweets were captured and posted to the web, where several sites picked up the news and ran with it.
If nothing else, we can expect more information about Kingdom Hearts 3 over the coming months, with E3 rapidly approaching. Release dates, gameplay details, characters and even some worlds will likely be announced there.
