Fans of Banjo-Kazooie Should Look Out for Next Month’s Edge
It’s been a long time since the last Banjo-Kazooie game, and an even longer time since fans were really happy with how (and more importantly, where) the franchise was. Now, something interesting, perhaps along a similar vein, is being teased for the next edition of EDGE magazine.
The Banjo-Kazooie composer, Grant Kirkhope, took to Twitter to let fans know that something would be happening in EDGE next month that may just interest them.
Ok, I think next month's Edge should have something interesting for all you Banjo Kazooie fans, that's all I can say!

oh dear …. I knew this would get out of hand! It isn't a BK game ……

Kirkhope also made it perfectly clear that this wasn’t a project that involved Microsoft or Rare, which means this isn’t going to be directly concerning the franchise.
It’s possible that it’s something interesting but niche, like a remastered soundtrack release or something similar. That would seem to be the most obvious place to jump considering who it is doing the announcement.
On the other hand, it might be a new game Kirkhope is involved with, something that he feels conjures up that “Banjo-Kazooie” atmosphere.
The only surefire way to know will be to wait for the next edition of EDGE, which should be available in the near future.
