Early Access Titanfall Players “Forbidden” from Sharing Opinions
It’s no surprise that users with early access to an upcoming game won’t be allowed to share screens, video, opinions or even details about said game ahead of its release, but, yup, Titanfall will be the same. Only made noteworthy by the fact the developers took to Twitter to confirm it, it seems some fans are desperate to share their results.
As some of you are asking, we are doing a limited technical test. It is not a beta, and we don’t have any beta news at the moment.

@AuAngelz Nope. It strictly not sharable.

There are plenty of reasons this might be, and absolutely none of them involve “lol, 6v6 and 720p.” The real news here is that Titanfall is out within two months and that they’ve only just started alpha testing. This might be common for shooters like this, but you only have to look at Call of Duty at launch to realize that maybe it shouldn’t be. Any popular online game will have lag and cutouts at launch, but you want to hope it isn’t made worse by a tight development schedule.
Titanfall launches in March 2014. A public beta is possible, although it’ll basically be a demo considering how little time is left until launch.
