Obviously, with the brand new release of the PS5, gamers are going to begin transitioning over to next-gen hardware. However, according to a statement by Hideaki Nishino, there is going to be a decent transition window.

Compromise has been the watchword of this generation – and thankfully that’s about to change
There was some chatter earlier this year that the jump this new generation will give us will be the biggest since the leap between 2D and 3D. Don’t just dismiss that as marketing talk, because it’s very true. Since the strongest 2d games were released for the SNES, we’ve seen a very slow transition to 3D. PS1 and PS2 were about finding the roots that would lead us to gaming as we know it today. PS3 was about building those…
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Review-in-Progress
Assassin's Creed has been one of my favourite franchises of all time, and the changes they have made in the last few entries are wonderful in almost every way. While there were a few things in Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey that I didn't enjoy, some of those issues have been rectified in what I like to call the "New Era" of Assassin's Creed titles. From start to finish, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a fantastic experience, punctuated by dozens of highs, and very few lows. Let's dive in!
November PlayStation Plus Surprise
As of November 3, PlayStation Plus subscribers can download their free games for the month. Unlike last month, it appears gamers are generally pleased with the offered titles. There are definitely some big Breath of the Wild and Kid Icarus…

One of the biggest questions I had going into Watch Dogs: Legion, and one I think I've finally answered, is "does Watch Dogs: Legion miss having a singular protagonist?" Let's dive in.

More Thoughts From Me #244: Online With Final Fantasy
I had never played a Final Fantasy online game before. I didn’t think they’d be for me nor do I want to pay a charge every month. However when I found out that there was a free trial for Final Fantasy 14 on the Playstation 4, I decided it was finally time to try an FF online game. So what do I think? Well… Over the weekend, I’ve been playing Final Fantasy 14’s free trial. And… Actually I like it.…
