Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut worse than 360 Original
While the PS3 Director’s Cut for Deadly Premonition is once again splitting critics, one thing is certain: the improvements hardly make a double-dip worth it. In fact, improvements may be a slight over-exaggeration, as users have found that certain parts of the game are worse than in the original 360 release. Deadly Premonition – Director’s Cut Launch Trailer
Deadly Premonition was something of a mixed bag when it was first released on Xbox 360 in 2010. While much of what made it a game - the graphics and controls specifically - suffered from a severe ability to underwhelm, the story and depth of the characters in the world were pretty much unlike anything else available. Like Twin Peaks with a touch of The X-Files, it managed to make you invest in the people of Greenvale regardless of the roughness of the gameplay itself. This led to incredibly mixed reviews, ranging from 9s and 10s right down to 1s and 2s. Thankfully, the director's cut - released this week on PS3 - seems to have gone a long way towards fixing many of the problems, and may balance out critical reception.

Borderlands 2 Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode Review
Originally, Borderlands 2 was not designed with a level cap raise in mind – everything in development was geared towards maxing out at 50. So when thousands of Borderlands 2 gamers had multiple level 50 character a few months (or weeks, in many cases) after release, Gearbox found themselves in a bit of a conundrum: stick to their guns, or go back in and tinker with the math to add more levels?
