Say what you will about Resident Evil 6, but Capcom is continuing to prove that they haven’t given up on it yet. Not only has a release date for the game’s PC port been confirmed, but Capcom has also revealed a few extra goodies that are in store for fans who spring for the PC version.

First Footage of Wasteland 2

When inXile Entertainment put up a drive for a Wasteland 2 on Kickstarter, no one could have foreseen the studio reaching its goal in just two days. By the time the pledging period ended, inXile had $3,040,574 in its hand. The original goal being a relatively low $900,000, all the extra money meant inXile could add in even more features. Once inXile hit $2.1 million, it meant that the studio could afford to have Obsidian Entertainment help out. Once the $3 million was reached, inXile would be able to include mod tools.

World of Warcraft Subscriber Numbers Continue To Plummet

Blizzard Activision released the investor’s report for the fourth quarter of 2012 today and according to the report, things aren’t looking so hot for World of Warcraft’s subscriber numbers. According to the report, total subscriber numbers for World of Warcraft had sunk to 9.6 million by the end of December, 2012. While it isn’t the lowest point to which subscriber numbers have fallen (the number of subscribers during the tail end of Cataclysm was reported to be 9.1 million), it’s still quite a dip considering there were over 10 million during the launch of World of Warcraft’s newest expansion Mists of Pandaria.

TERA Free to Play

From February 5th onwards, TERA will adopt a free-to-play model. According to En Masse Entertainment, publisher of TERA, the MMORPG will walk the “freemium” route. That is, you can still pay for in-game items, but that is completely optional. Just in case you’re a TERA player, let us see what is in store.

Arcadecraft On XBLA

The list of games with “craft” at the end of their title has just grown a little longer thanks to the release of Firebase Industries’ Arcadecraft in the Indie Games section of Xbox Live Arcade. In Arcadecraft, players assume the role of a struggling entrepreneur who must dig their way out of debt by starting and managing their own arcade. In addition to getting to name the arcade and customize its floor pattern, wall color, and decorations, players will also be able to purchase various arcade games from a total list of roughly 80 different machines.

Guild Wars 2 – new changes released

Changes were announced for ArenaNet’s popular Buy-to-Play MMO Guild Wars 2. A new dev blog posted by the game’s lead designer Isaiah Cartwright outlines some of the new changes coming to the game’s dynamic leveling system. The auction is finished and THQ have been sold! Majority of owned publisher development teams and brands were sold for a total amount of 100 million dollars. Auction is not approved by the court yet, but this is just a formality. The most valuable piece of the pie turned out to be Relic Entertainment studio, together with all rights to the Company of Heroes 2. This kit was acquired by Sega for 26.6 million dollars, which overbid competitive offer from ZeniMax Media company.
