Sony Shows off it’s Versatility in State of Play
PlayStation has a ton of great AAA titles heading for the console in late 2021 and early 2022, but yesterday's State of Play wasn't about any of first party titles. Instead, I fully believe that Sony showed off their versatility in what they can offer their fans, with a ton of great and diverse exclusive titles. Anytime Nintendo does a direct and leaves out the big boys - aka, Zelda, Mario, etc - hardcore indie fans are always abuzz, while most Nintendo fans are left disappointed. That wasn't the case here.
Worms Rumble Runs Well on Nintendo Switch
Although I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I launched Worms Rumble on Nintendo Switch, I was glad to almost instantly see that cross-play with other consoles was an option. With no knowledge of the title whatsoever, the thing I wanted to know was: will people actually be playing this on Nintendo Switch? Will it run OK on the system? Thankfully, even if players aren't on Nintendo Switch, I was hoping in and out of most games with relative ease, and enjoying a fairly smooth experience along the way.

More Thoughts From Me #276: Don’t Dread 2D Metroid
One of the biggest surprises of E3, in my opinion, was Metroid Dread. I know it was rumored and speculated that Nintendo might do a 2D Metroid game before Prime but honestly I did not think that would happen. And if they did, I thought it would just be a remake like Samus Returns was. Instead, we are getting a full blown Metroid 5. Let’s talk about it! I still can’t believe Metroid 5, aka Metroid Dread, is on the…
OLED? Oh Nintendo…
There’s a great quote that I think successfully sums up Nintendo’s OLED Switch announcement. It’s attributed to Henry Ford, although he didn’t actually say it. “If I’d have asked people what they wanted, they’d have said faster horses”. Well, Nintendo, people are unfortunately screaming for faster horses, and you gave them the same horse in a stupid hat. The Switch is a juggernaut, and it isn’t going away any time soon. Nintendo have no obvious direction once this console is…
Nintendo Switch (OLED model) Announced
Nintendo announced a brand new hardware model of the Nintendo Switch today: the Nintendo Switch OLED model! Check out the trailer, the details on it, and our thoughts below. The Nintendo Switch OLED (organic light-emitting diode) model is coming out on October 8th! Just in time for Metroid Dread! This new Switch model will have a bigger 7-inch screen, a sizable table top adjustment, enhanced audio for portable mode, a bigger storage space of 64GB, and a Wifi LAN port…
GamesReviews and Adam’s Nintendo World Bringing You a Voice Translated Yo-Kai Watch on Nintendo Switch
The original Yo-Kai Watch was a fantastic title that was given a Western release around 2014, and since then, the Yo-Kai Watch fever has hit a select few in the west. Unfortunately, just as Level-5 began porting over and releasing new titles on Nintendo Switch, they also closed down their North American offices, killing any hope of getting these titles localized in the west. So for longtime fans, the only way to play the remake of Yo-Kai Watch, or Yo-Kai Watch 4, is to play the Japanese version and hopefully find people to help with the translation.
How to Buy Games on Out Of Country eShops?
There are a number of reasons why someone might want to purchase games on a non-native Nintendo eShop. Whether there is a good sale in a specific country, getting a game before it's available in your own region, or perhaps playing something not available in your region at all, getting games from different regions is pretty easy, although it can cost just a bit of money if you begin making purchases!
