Sobek Board Game Preview
I’ve really enjoyed games produced by Pandasaurus Games, so when the opportunity came to check out their latest, a 2-Player re-launch of Sobek, I couldn’t wait to dive in. The backstory for the game is pretty straightforward, “Sobek awaits the creation of a grand temple in his honor to be built in Faiyum. To support the construction, a huge market has emerged, bustling with rich goods. You and your opponent will vie to take advantage of this opportunity. Sobek will…

Kirby and Sweet and All, But Where is Donkey Kong?
Anytime Nintendo drops a brand new game for us to enjoy, I'm a pretty happy camper. As someone who primarily plays on the Nintendo Switch, I love playing the host of first party titles, even if it's not something I'm that excited about. You can put me in that camp for the upcoming Kirby game, Kirby's Dream Buffet! Sure, the game looks like some crazy fun, and I'm sure the family and I will enjoy it. But all of this new game hype has me asking one question - where is a brand new 3D Donkey Kong game?
Red Hood’s Brand of Vigilante Justice Debuted for Gotham Knights
As a HUGE fan of Red Hood, I’ve been excited for Gotham Knights since it was first unveiled. Today Warner Bros. finally is highlighting some gameplay for the crimson menace himself. The video features all-new gameplay and custom cutscenes of Red Hood, also known as Jason Todd. An intense vigilante with a short fuse, Red Hood is a highly trained marksman and hard-hitting, hand-to-hand fighter who’s reached the peak of human strength, making him an expert in both ranged and…
The DioField Chronicle Demo First Impressions
A demo for The DioField Chronicle will be released tomorrow, August 10th. Thanks to the magic of the Japanese Switch eshop, I was able to download the demo early. Here are my first impressions of it! The DioField Chronicle is a strategy rpg where, much like Final Fantasy Tactics or Triangle Strategy, you join an army thats fighting a war against another nation. However, the battle system in The DioField Chronicle is very different from the aforementioned strategy games. In…

Nintendo has announced that there will be a Splatoon Direct this Wednesday! We have the details below. Nintendo will livestream a Splatoon Direct this Wednesday, August 10th at 8am central. It will be “roughly” 30 minutes long! We haven’t too much of Splatoon 3 yet. Just bits and pieces. So this will be the big blowout for the game. I loved the first two Splatoons, so I’m pretty excited to see what the new game has to offer. We will,…
Rabbids Party of Legends (Google Stadia)
The Rabbids were never one of my favourite franchises. Ubisoft creates such great stuff, but I never felt that the Rabbids was one of them. My tune changed when I played Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and I'm glad - Rabbids Party of Legends is one grand time, regardless of whether you feel it is a noticeable knockoff of other popular franchises. If you are looking to have a good time with friends, this is the game to play. And it is available via the cloud too!

In our final review-in-progress of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, we talk about the game’s story and some of the most recent gameplay we’ve encountered. Spoiler Warning, just in case. Stay tuned for our full review of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 next week! Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s story is pretty interesting so far. Its different from the other games but still feels very much like a Xenoblade game. The characters and the world feel similar to what we’ve seen in the previous two games.…
