Microsoft Pursuing Legal Action after Neogaf Leak

A user on Neogaf yesterday "announced" a series of Microsoft secrets, including Halo 2 Anniversary, Crackdown 3, a Titanfall console and a cheaper Xbox One without an optical disc drive. Naturally Microsoft was unhappy with this, and Kotaku claim an anonymous source tells them they'll be trying to discover the identity of the leaker, and punish him as much as the law allows.

The Wolf Among Us: Episode 2 Trailer Released

It's been an awfully long time since the first episode of The Wolf Among Us was released, and that' s not good for episodic content. I don't remember which decisions I've made or who the main characters are, but I do remember two things: telling Bufkin to 'eff' off, and that final shocking twist in the closing moments of the game. Well, despite the gap, Telltale today released a new trailer for The Wolf Among Us: Episode 2, and that it'll be available to download next week.

Killzone: Shadow Fall hits 2.1 Million Sales

Sony today announced that Killzone: Shadow Fall has sold over two million units. Considering the amount of PS4s that have been shipped, that number is impressive to say the least, rivalling more or less anything on new-gen machines (and quite a bit from last gen as well). By comparison, the last Mario game sold roughly half as much on the Wii U, which has been out for well over a year.

Halo 2 Anniversary Coming This Year?

There have been hits in the past that Microsoft might be looking to revisit Halo 2. November 2014 will be the tenth anniversary of the best-selling sequel, so some fans might be hoping that something happens, and that it lives up to their memory of that original Xbox game. A developer visiting Neogaf might just have outed the whole project, even down to the release date.

Titanfall DLC Already In Development

Titanfall is still a few months away from launch, but that doesn't mean that development has finished on it. There's a beta incoming, and that'll probably result in a bit of tweaking, and what's the chance of a major shooter coming out without a day-one patch to follow? That's not all the Titanfall staff are working on though. EA, via an earnings call to investors, have revealed that DLC is already being worked on by Respawn.

PlayStation Now Beta Invites Streaming to Users in US

The PlayStation Now service is still an awfully long way out for EU users, who probably won't gain access to Cloud streaming until well into 2015. That point has been hit home even more today with Sony announcing PlayStation Now beta invites are being sent out to those lucky enough to have been selected.

Nintendo President Taking Pay Cut

The Wii U has been nothing but trouble for Nintendo. As Nikkei reported today, the poor sales resulted in the Big N recently getting slammed with a $15 million dollar operating loss, which is forcing President Satoru Iwata to take a 50 percent pay cut from now until June. Other executives are taking pay cuts, as well, by as much as 30 percent.
