Toad Getting Love in Captain Toad
Remember those silly mini Toad levels that were scattered throughout Super Mario World 3D on the Wii U. For myself, I always thought they were fun to play, although perhaps to simple. Well, now Toad is getting his own game based on these levels, and it is called Captain Toad.
More information released on Legend of Zelda Wii U
We knew there was going to be a new Legend of Zelda on its way for Wii U - Nintendo had confirmed it even if you didn't like to presume - and after today's Nintendo Direct... we know there's a new Legend of Zelda on its way for Wii U. While the developers didn't go as far as to reveal anything tangible about the next game in the Zelda series (not even a name), they did hint at what might come: giant spider death robots.
More Details Released on Hyrule Warriors
Hyrule Warriors is a title that we know surprisingly little about, especially considering it'll be available to purchase within the next three months or so. With that said, Dynasty Warriors is a franchise that needs no introduction, and it's only really the Hyrule-specific details that we need to know about. The gameplay itself is obvious, how it's all set up and why characters as broad as Midna and Impa will be taking part in battle is less opaque.
New Characters Announced for Smash Bros: Miis and Lady Palutena
Although it does not come as much of a surprise, Nintendo announced today that Miis are coming to Super Smash Bros. However, what was surprising is the level of customization available, and that Miis will be competitive when going head to head with some of Nintendo's finest!
Yoshi’s Woolly World Coming in 2015
After a very disappointing launch in Yoshi's New Island on 3DS, Nintendo is quickly trying to win Yoshi's Island fans back with Yoshi's Wooly World. Wooly World is essentially Yoshi's Island, but the fact that everything is made out of yarn opens up the franchise to new, and welcomed, game play mechanics.
Star Fox Wii U is Coming
According to Time Magazine, a much loved franchise is coming back to the Wii U. In a conversation with Nintendo prior to the beginning of E3, Time Magazine was able to get valuable information on Nintendo's latest project: Star Fox for Wii U.
Standalone DLC for Infamous: Second Son Announced
More developers need to do what Sucker Punch Productions is doing: selling stand alone DLC that will go along with their latest Infamous title, Second Son. During the Sony E3 press conference, Sucker Punch showed off a trailer for Infamous: First Light. It appears as if the protagonist in Infamous: First Light will be Second Son, Neon controlling female, Conduit Fetch. Although this DLC is stand alone, extra content will be available to those who own Second Son.
Grand Theft Auto V Coming to PS4
The best kept secret ever? Sony have announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be coming to PlayStation 4 in Autumn. Although the port apparently contains a host of extras and enhancements, these weren't specified during the announcement. Expect further information directly from Rockstar between now and release.
PlayStation TV Coming to the West
PlayStation TV is an amazing little device that's basically a non-portable PlayStation Vita. It offers everything the Vita can do, with the small difference of it not actually being able to go anywhere. You plug it into your TV, grab your Dualshock 3 and can play the likes of the rather brilliant Gravity Rush from the comfort of your armchair.
Bungie Release Destiny Story Trailer
Destiny was always going to be at the Sony presser, and they finally got around to revealing some of the story. So far we've seen chunks of gameplay and not much else. Even the actual form the game will take has been vague - at least now we know what we're aiming towards.
