Witcher 3 Awards and DLC Review
I'm not sure October could have become any better for CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the award winning Witcher franchise and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game. Not only did they launch the first of two large expansion packs this month - which was very good by the way, more below - but they also took home five awards in the Golden Joysticks 2016!
Yo-Kai Watch to Release Friday in North America
Yo-Kai Watch has already taken over Japan with multiple games, merchandise, and a TV Show. In fact, the creators have publicly stated that they feel they are more popular than Pokemon in the country. On Friday, we will see if that success translates in North America as well.
Microsoft Games with Gold announced for November
November's Games with Gold has been announced by Microsoft and it continues with two games for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360 starting on November 1st. Owners of an Xbox One will get the chance to play Pneuma: Breath of Life which has been out and available since February of this year. Xbox One users will also get the new game Knight Squad to round out the games for the new generation system.
Indie Corner: Forced
In a video game generation that continues to move away from local cooperative play, it was nice to see a game come across my desk that would allow my wife and I to play together. And we did! Outside of some wonky controls, Force delivers a great top down puzzle RPG game that is sure to delight those looking for something in between long titles like Diablo and Divinity: Original Sin.
