Pokken Tournament DX is Perfect for Friends
I like to think I hang out with a nice diverse group of friends , with different likes and dislikes. When throwing a party, trying to appease everyone at once can be a bit daunting, but I found a surprise friend on the Nintendo Switch: Pokken Tournament DX! It seems that regardless of what they like - whether they enjoy fighting titles, or even Pokémon for that matter - people are willing to sit down and match strength with another person in a Pokken match. I think I know why.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Review
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider feels less like a true standalone video game, and more like an extension of Dishonored 2, which was released last year, like with this release, had you exploring the streets and hubs of Karnaca. Despite feeling like an extension, Death of the Outsider is very much its own game, with characters you'll care about and a story that will push you through.

Steamworld Dig 2 Impressions
Steamworld Dig and Steamworld Heist are two of my favorite games on the Nintendo 3DS. Both games are a lot of fun. And the developer of those games, Image & Form, just released another Steamworld game today: Steamworld Dig 2 for the Nintendo Switch! I’ve been playing the game for a couple of days now, thanks to Image & Form, and have some impressions of the game to share with you. How is Steamworld Dig 2 so far? I’ve only…

YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Review
I've never had the pleasure of playing a YS game before, and after playing YS VII: Lacrimosa of Dana I really wish I had. From the first cutscenes to the moment I was able to take control of the games protagonist, Adol. Although the game isn't without a few faults, it is an outstanding experience from start to finish, one I'm really glad I was able to play.

The Escapists 2 is Pure Fun
It's not often you play a game with a few issues that you overlook because the game is just pure, damn fun. That is the Escapists 2 for me, a game that, despite some of its repetitions, is just too much fun NOT to play. While the experience playing solo was pretty entertaining for many hours, playing with friends is really where this game shines.

LEGO Dimensions Beetlejuice Fun Pack Review
Tonight, my son and I cracked into the Beetlejuice Fun Pack for LEGO Dimensions thanks to my good friends at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in Canada. While the physical LEGO build itself isn't one of the best to come out of the LEGO Dimensions lineup, the gameplay more than makes up for it. Overall, the Fun Pack comes highly recommended from us here at GamesReviews!

Pokken Tournament DX Review
Pokken Tournament was a much loved game on the Nintendo Wii U, but not one that many people bought into and spent much time with. Trying to bank on the success of the arcade cabinets in Japan, Nintendo made the decision to bring the game to consoles, with much success in Japan, and moderate success in North America. With a subsequent DX release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo is looking to expand the player base even further, with many new features that will make this a must own for Nintendo Swtich fans, even those skeptical about the title on Wii U!

PDP’s Latest Shipment Shows They are About Diversity of Franchises
When the Pixel Pals were first launched by PDP, we noticed a number of people commenting on our social media threads that Performance Design Products was going to cater to the Nintendo audience with these releases, and basically leaving out the 'hardcore' audience. From what we have seen, however, this is far from the truth, and the latest shipments we have received for review speak volumes to that.

Chicken Wiggle is on sale! Now is the time to buy it for 3DS
I gave Chicken Wiggle on the 3DS a 10 out of 10 in my review. I do not give out 10s lightly. In fact, the only other game I can remember giving a 10 (ever) was Paper Mario: Color Splash. Chicken Wiggle is really that good! And now is the time to buy it if you haven’t. Chicken Wiggle is now on sale via the 3DS eshop! The sale started today (9-14) and will run through September 28. The game’s…

Nintendo Direct: Third Party Support Strong, Nintendo Publisher of the Year?
Yesterday's Nintendo Direct was incredible, with 45 minutes of non-stop announcements, reveals, and details on all our favorite announced - and previously unannounced - titles coming to the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Nintendo has to be in line for Publisher of the Year for all that they have accomplished in 2017, leaving the Wii U and the criticisms that surrounded the company during that time way in the past. With strong 3rd party support on the horizon, and tons of great titles left for 2017, it's obvious to me that Nintendo systems were the 'it' items to own this year.
