New Premium Drones Feature Integrated HD Cameras with 2-Axis Image Stabilization at An Astonishing Price
We love our hardware and gadgets at GamesReviews.com, and although they don't dominate our web space, we know based on hits that people really enjoy them. So, why not cover a new drone, right? The Phoenix HD and Phoenix HD Pro S are hitting the market soon at the astonishing price of 179.99 and 229.99 respectably. If you are familiar with what drones can cost, you'd say this is the average, run-of-the-mill pricing for a drone with a camera. Once you unpack the details, however, you begin to see the value even before the product makes it to your home!
Xbox One X Coverage: Call of Duty: World War II
The Call of Duty franchise has had its many ups and downs over the past decade, but overall, most would agree that the various development companies responsible for the franchise have moved in a positive direction over those years. They tackled the two World Wars, and than began moving into modern combat operations. Things were going well, although people began getting tired of the high tech, gadget loaded options in the newer titles, and began requesting a return to a simpler, military time: World War II. And the developers delivered masterfully, bringing a beautiful and emotional experience to the Xbox One X earlier this month.
Snipperclips Plus a Welcome Addition to the Original Title
Snipperclips is easily one of my favorite, budget titles to release on Nintendo Switch to date. The idea of playing with someone else - although much less fun, can also be done solo - to cut each other into shapes to solve puzzles is fantastic, and the only problem with the original release was that there just wasn't enough of it. My wife and I blew through the initial worlds offered in the game, and while the multiplayer modes were fun, they didn't quite hit the highs that the campaign did. When Nintendo of Canada reached out and offered us an opportunity to try the expansion, we jumped!
More Thoughts From Me #95: My First Trip to Skyrim
I was going to write about what (and who) in gaming I was thankful for this year but honestly, I just don’t feel like writing a list like that this year. Sorry. I am thankful for many of you though, especially Adam Roffel, Games Reviews, and some other wonderful people I mentioned on twitter. I am @df2506 there (plug, plug), please follow me. And Adam & Games Reviews and the other people I mentioned. Ok? So what is this column…
Nintendo Continuing Great Year with Splatoon Update
Nintendo has a hit on their hands, and they know it. And no, I'm not talking about the Nintendo Switch, but rather, Splatoon 2, the sequel to the fast selling and much played Splatoon from the Wii U days. Nintendo has done a lot wrong over the past 5 years - fixed almost entirely by the Nintendo Switch - but one thing they've done right, which every one else has failed, is continuing to support their titles well after launch, with free content. This week, Nintendo is rolling out brand new content for Splatoon 2 that will bring new weapons, items, and maps for players to explore.
Disney Cruise Line: Animator’s Palate
When onboard any of Disney Cruise Line's ships there is one thing you can be guaranteed: a wonderful evening in a interactive dinning room called Animators Palate. Animator's is themed around Disney and Pixar animation, and no matter which ship you are on, you are in for a fantastic experience; available in restaurant activities are ship specific, and itinerary length specific. Regardless, no matter which Animator's Palate you eat at - Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder, or Disney Magic - you are in for a very magical experience.
Could You Get That Dream Job In Gaming?
Perhaps the vast majority of people who call themselves “gamers” have dreamed of this at some point or another. They want to work in the world of videogames. To many, that seemed unfeasible and they eventually gave up to work in something more attainable. But the truth is that working in the world of gaming isn’t as impossible at it might seem. Here, we’re going to look at three sides of the industry you could easily jump into. Pic Breaking…

Xbox One X Coverage: Star Wars Battlefront 2
One of the biggest title hitting console and PC this holiday season is Star Wars Battlefront 2. After affair amount of early controversy - and some action on behalf of Electronic Arts - things are moving along pretty well for this galactic giant, as it tries to recapture the magic of the first Star Wars Battlefront release on Xbox a few years back. From a gameplay perspective, it's so-far-so-good, with online matches proving to be a ton of fun, and the inclusion of a single player experience a definite improvement over the last Battlefront title. Overall, EA has done a good job. But what about that extra processing power in the Xbox One X. Did EA harness that as well? Let's take a look.
Why LEGO Games are a Family Experience
If you've had the opportunity to play LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 - from Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and Travelers Tales - you will quickly understand that it is a love letter to the Marvel Universe. For those who want to see some of those lesser known heroes, they are here. For those who want Baby Groot and Star Lord: they are here. The variety of characters available in LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 is phenomenal, and only made playing this title with my newly-minted-Marvel-fan-son that much more enjoyable. The biggest draw for my family with LEGO games: how universally accessible AND enjoyable they are, for myself, my son, and the rest of the Roffel crew.
