Why You Should Be Playing Rainbow Six: Siege
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, released in 2015, is more relevant than ever. In fact, it has been titled one of the best and most complex online shooters since Counter Strike and Counter Strike Global Offensive. For those familiar with the series, Rainbow Six: Siege returns to its roots, prioritizing high-risk gameplay and balancing twitch shooting with complex creative and tactical freedom.
Why FIFA 18 is the Best Version Yet
With the release of each new edition of FIFA comes a year's’ worth of feedback and suggestions from diehard fans. The great thing about FIFA 18 is that those suggestions have been listened to and implemented. FIFA 18 is a drastic improvement on FIFA 17 and those who have clocked a significant amount of playing time already will agree. Of course, improvements can always be made, but here’s why FIFA 18 is the best version yet.
Holiday Gift Guide 2017 – Party / Multiplayer Games
A number of years ago, it was looking like couch co-op was about to be a thing of the past, but specific companies continue to release titles that plopped two friends on the couch, side by side, playing games, like in the 'old' days! Nintendo has always been a bastion for local cooperative play, and other companies with great party titles are following suite. Here are a few of our favorite party titles this year, and ones we think you might want to invest time into!
Balanced Themed Decks Once Again Descend on Pokémon Trading Card Game
The Pokémon Trading Card Game has been going on for over 20 years, and thousands of new players get introduced year after year, slowly growing the base of players around the world. The Pokémon TCG isn't the easiest game to understand right away, and The Pokémon Company never leaves new players in the dark as new expansions roll out. The latest expansion, Pokémon Sun and Moon: Crimson Invasion, is no different, providing two themed starter decks for new players to use, removing the necessity to build their own decks, or understand the process of doing that.

Since 1996, the Pokémon Company has been releasing video games on every Nintendo system, and today the company announced it has surpassed 300 million sales across all those platforms and games. Since 1996, The Pokémon Company has released 76 titles total. While they have released a ton of games, to reach 300 million global lifetime sales is a huge feat, and the company should be complimented for such a long, successful franchise. Press Release: Project Cars 2 Demo Available Now; DLC coming Winter 2017
Project Cars 2 has been on of the better racing games to release in 2017, and there have been a lot of them. During our time with the game earlier this fall, we felt that the second iteration of this fairly new franchise was leaps and bounds better than the original, and were glad Bandai Namco stuck with it for another installment. For those who have shown interest, but are unsure if they want to spend the money, Bandai Namco announced today that they are releasing a demo for Project Cars 2 on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, to celebrate the soon-to-release launch of the games first DLC pack! Check out the press release below, and get your demo on the Xbox One store or PlayStation store today!
Xbox One X Coverage – Farming Simulator 2017 Platinum Edition
Farming Simulator 2017 is a very niche title, and although the majority of people likely won't enjoy what the game has to offer, it is easily one of my favorite franchises on console, and I eagerly await the new released, which lately seem to be about bi-yearly. Just last week, Giants Software released Farming Simulator 2017 Platinum Edition, and although this version can be purchased in the stores, all previous owners of Farming Simulator 2017 Season Pass were able to get the upgrade at no additional charge. While the 4K improvements are what I showed up for, I was surprised to see an all new map, new tractors, and so much more.
Nintendo Switch – Christmas Showcase 2017 Video
The Nintendo has released a lot of big games this year for the Nintendo Switch. If you are not too familiar with the Switch or if your head is just spinning from all the games, Nintendo Australia has you covered with a new holiday showcase video. The video does not cover all the games released for the Switch this year -what video could!-but it shows off the big ones that Nintendo released. All of these games are great but my…
Review in Progress – Samsung Series 7 55inch Q7 UHD QLED TV
For the majority of people, a television set is, well, a televisions set, and while you might notice the size difference between an LCD and an LED, or perhaps the brightest differences between a plasma and a non-plasma TV, the reality is the majority of people won't know whether they are watching on a great TV versus a phenomenal TV. Prior to receiving the Samsung Series 7 55inch Q7 UHD QLED TV from Samsung Canada, I was using your average Sharp, LED HD TV. I was happy with it, but when my Xbox One X arrived from Xbox Canada, I knew that the Sharp I had been using for the past 3 years wasn't going to cut it.
Worms W.M.D Out Today on Nintendo Switch
There is more in the air than just thanksgiving, at least for Worms fans. Worms W.M.D launches today on the Nintendo Switch for 29.99. We reviewed W.M.D last year on the Xbox One and where not entirely thrilled with the title at the 29.99 price point. That being said, having the ability to take Worms on the go is definitely an added bonus over the other console versions of the game, making the 29.99 price point much more digestible. We will be reviewing Worms W.M.D on Nintendo Switch, and that should be ready next week. Until then, take a look at this press release from Team 17!
