Bank of Nook Lowers Interest Rates
You heard it here folks - after getting my game all ready to go for the major April update, I reloaded my game only to get a nasty letter from one of the big banks on my island. Can you believe it? In these hard times, the Bank of Nook is actually lowering interest rates!
Animal Crossing Could Use Quality of Life Improvements
When you love a game as much as Animal Crossing, it's easy to look over the negatives and focus just on the positives. And frankly, that is what we did at GamesReviews when handing the game a perfect 10/10 score. Does Animal Crossing: New Horizons have some faults? Of course it does, but the overall package is near perfection. For the record, a 10/10 score on GamesReviews does not mean perfect, but rather is a score given to only our favourite titles!
Tiny Towns is the Perfect “Gateway Game”
Over the many years of playing Board Games, I've found that there are two different types of board game players. First, there are those that play traditional board games like Monopoly, Risk, and now, yes even Settlers of Catan. Then there is another breed of board game players that venture out into more difficult and deep experiences, such as Scythe, Isle of Skye, Tapestry, and more. Without actually being forced from the former into the latter, it's actually difficult to get someone to move into the latter category. Enter what I think is the perfect "gateway game", Tiny Towns.

The best part of Curious Expedition is its concept: You choose a famous historical explorer and set off on a journey to a remote location, searching for treasure and the location of a golden pyramid. Is their “Lucky” Moments in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Of Course!
If you've played games like Stardew Valley in the past, you know there are such things as lucky days, and unlucky days. In Stardew, it's a well known fact that if the spirits are smiling upon you, it's a good day to trek into the mines, or into the Skull Cavern. Why? Because you are likely to pick up lots of diamonds and other valuable gems, or perchance cash in on gold or even iridium ore! We are over 150+ hours into Animal Crossing: New Horizons and I'm beginning to wonder if the game has what I call, "Lucky" Moments.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake First Impressions
Yesterday, I went and got my pre-ordered copy of Final Fantasy 7 Remake from Gamestop. A day early! I couldn’t believe it. And so I have played Final Fantasy 7 Remake a little bit already and I’m ready to share my first impressions of the game. Does it live up to the hype? Final Fantasy 7 Remake came out today. Zombie Army Trilogy – Nintendo Switch Review
Zombie Army has always been a pretty good spinoff of the Sniper Elite series, using all the same mechanics and fantastic kill cams, and switching out modern war mechanics for, well, zombies in Nazi outfits. The Sniper Elite series has always done a pretty good job of creating a sniper heavy first person shooting experience that fans really enjoy, but is moving it over to a zombie apocalypse enough to justify buying the same game with a different skin? Let's dive in!
LEGO Super Mario Available August 1st
I'll be the first to admit that what Nintendo and LEGO revealed earlier this year was not quite what I was expecting when I heard that the two entertainment giants were going to partner together on a line of sets. While the appeal isn't likely there for adults - unless they are looking to purchase for display purposes - the market for kids is huge, and based on the reactions of my 10 and 6 year olds, it's going to be a big hit in the Roffel household.
