Ever Wonder when you wake up in the morning, after getting a cup of coffee and as soon as you are ready to start the day, you look outside and wonder who the architecture is who design this amazing city I am living now. Well now you can take the role of a city-builder in this fun Simulation Game Called Silicon City developed by Polycorne, where you have the power to bring out your creativity in this amazing game to build one of the best city ever.
Silicon city a game that is still in early access on PC which has tons of potential to become a fun addition to many great city building simulation game out there. It for sure brings out the creativity and joy of building an amazing city on a random generated map and just watching it grow from a small little town to a massive city. From not only building tons of house to increase the population of your city, you have the ability to build farmlands and business by setting specific zoning rights. Zoning is important if you want to see people coming to city, or business to grow which brings more revenue to your city budget, and the same as building crops for your farmlands. Beside zoning happiness is important as if there are no happiness in your zoning area then nothing will happen, so in order to make your Silizens happy you will have to be creative and build beautiful parks or landmarks that brings life to the city.
The visual of this game is simple but beautiful, everything that grows or get build are unique in terms of shape and size even colors. The designs of the house brings so much life into your city and just watching your people get through their daily life brings so much happiness to something you have created. As your city grows, so does your rank which unlocks more stuff to build and create, there are so many different building, landscape to create and change, which is a cool feature because it allows you to focus on objectives that pops up so you can complete them in order to increase your rank.
As your city grows, many events can happen, and in order to make sure your people can handle these new events you will have to create unique public building to resolve some of these events ranging from a robbery to house fire, and one interesting thing about these event that you will get a notification like a news feed appear in response to these events. I really enjoy this because it makes your city more alive because things can happen in a city and we have to find ways to resolve this problem, such as taking out loans to combat the financial crisis, or building a stadium to increase revenue by creating jobs and bringing happiness to your people.
Silicon City makes you want more and more and teaches you how to manage a city, for a game that is in early access I can see tons of more contents that will be coming to make this game a great addition to many amazing City building games like SimCity.
