Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story is really cute and kid friendly. Of course some kid friendly games are really good while others are not so great. Is Song of Nunu a good game? Here is our review of Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story for the Nintendo Switch!
Song of Nunu: A Legend of Legends Story is about a young boy and his best friend, a monster, who go on a journey to find the boy’s mother. The story is presented through cutscenes and dialogue between the boy and his friend. It has a really cute, kid friendly story. If you have kids, then you’ll want to play Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story with them.
The gameplay in Song of Nunu is focused on the boy, with his friend being controlled, for the most part, by the computer. Its too bad that there is no multiplayer because this game seems perfect for it. Split screen and/or Switch-to-Switch local wireless play would’ve been great. However, the A.I is good, and the monster is helpful. He will give you clues and try to help you through puzzles. You do get to control the monster during combat and occasionally when the boy rides on him. Mostly you’re in control of the boy.
Song of Nunu isn’t too hard, though kids might need help with the occasional puzzles. There are lot of accessibility options that make the gameplay easier but nothing that impacts the puzzles. Though the developer gets points for having options to make the fighting easier, subtitles bigger, and climb areas more noticeable.
Song of Nunu is a cute game that is geared toward kids or families. Though, if you like Nintendo games, you should feel very at home with this one. The graphics are pretty good too.
The graphics look as good as the cutscenes: both are very detailed and animated movie-like. There is some slow down occasionally but the game runs pretty well overall. The voice acting is good too!
Song of Nunu: A Legend of Legends Story is an excellent game for kids. Some of the puzzles can be a challenging but for the most part the game is easy and can be made easier with some accessibility settings. Song of Nunu is a great game that you should absolutely check out if you have kids or if you’re a kid at heart.
