Digital Eclipse has brought us such amazing things as recent Atari 50 collection and the TMNT Cowabunga Collection. Their next project looks even more special if thats possible. Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord is a remake of the original Wizardry PC game. Digital Eclipse, who did the Atari 50 and TMNT collections, is behind this game. And it looks completely amazing.
The game is in early access on GOG & Steam for PC today. There is no word if the game will come out on consoles and won’t be until the game is out of early access and finished. I will be crossing my fingers though. This looks like an amazing game! Wizardry has been completely remade with new graphics..on top of the old game! So you can bring up the old game’s graphics as you are playing and compare them to the new game. My jaw is dropping to the floor. I love that Digital Eclipse is so devoted to keeping older games alive. I can’t wait to see what they do next.
