Stray Xbox Series Review
Do you like cats? If the answer to this question is yes, then you should read this review of Stray for the Xbox Series and then go buy this game!
Stray is about a cat who lives in a future time where there are no people and robots have taken over the cities. Our hero, a cat, gets separated from his family and ends up on his own. Well, until he meets a tiny flying robot that decides to help him by translating for other robots and giving the cat inventory space. Together, they go on an adventure! The story is pretty neat, with good dialogue and plenty of mystery. That said, the gameplay is definitely better.
This game isn’t an action game. Stray is an adventure/exploration game where you, as a cat, wonder around and interact with items and robots. There are some action-like sequences but for the most part, this game is all about exploring and finding stuff. The controls are really good too. We especially love that there is a meow button and you can also do other cat things like scratch a carpet or door and put a paper bag on your head. Why? Well, just because you’re a cat! The game is fun for the most part. The one thing we do wish is that when you get into a town, its easy to get lost and a map or at least some story markers might have helped a little bit. That said, even though you can lost, you’ll never be bored in the world of Stray.
Stray is a really wonderful game and it has fantastic graphics too.
Stray’s cat is an orange tabby and looks pretty realistic, especially when he’s doing cat things. The environments he explores, including the robots, are all well detailed and look great. Meanwhile, the audio is Stray is excellent too. The music is subtle for the most part and the sound effects, all the cat ones for instance, are purrrfect. Sorry.
If you like cats, then Stray for the Xbox Series is the game for you. You become a cat and get to do cat things, plus you also live in the future where there are robots! This is just a really wonderful game and a great addition to the Xbox Series library!
