Do you like classic games like Contra and Castlevania? Then you may be interested in Shadow of the Ninja Reborn! Here’s our review of the game for Nintendo Switch.

Its 2029 and two ninjas are trying to save the world. That’s the basic story to Shadow of the Ninja Reborn, but the game doesn’t focus on it. Instead, its focuses on its old school beat ‘em up gameplay.

Shadow of the Ninja Reborn is an action/adventure old school beat ‘em up in the style of games like Contra or Castlevania. You’ll be switching between sub-weapons, fighting random enemies and bosses alike. If you’re a fan of old beat ‘em up games, you’ll love this one.

It plays great on the Nintendo Switch too. The game is fun but its also challenging too. The enemies in this game are hard. You won’t struggle with the controls but you will struggle with the levels.

There are multiple difficulties and two modes (regular & time attack). Shadow of the Ninja Reborn is another great addition to the Switch for old school beat ‘em up fans. It also looks good too.

The graphics in Shadow of the Ninja look excellent, from detailed backdrops to cool characters, this is a game that retro old school fans will love.

Shadow of the Ninja Reborn has a modern 2D look mixed with a classic old school feel. If you love the old beat ‘em ups from the NES, then you’ll want this game!
