Paw Patrol is on a roll! Now that I have played both games I can’t get the theme song out of my head. Adventure Bay once again needs our help, I will say this time around the game has improved in all aspects from the 2018 game. Although much shorter, the game is still very enjoyable. The pups have 7 unique missions to complete with 7 separate mini games on the home screen. The mini games and other items are unlocked as you progress through the game. In the words of Zuma, let’s get ready to dive in.

Google sent over a Stadia Code for Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay. My two youngest kids are huge Paw Patrol fans, and I cannot seem to get them to turn off the episodes. While I love having games my kids can play, having them take over my Nintendo Switch, my Xbox Series X, and my PlayStation 5! Luckily, Google is back to the rescue, launching the game on Google Stadia for my kids to enjoy…literally anywhere!
And again, we sing the praises of Google Stadia. This title from Outright Games isn’t taxing on any system, so streaming it via the cloud from Google is incredibly easy and performs exceptionally well. But the real plus is being able to stream to any device in my house. They can play on my phone, play on my smart TVs, and even play on our computers via Google Chrome.
And again, we look at the beauty of the system. Sure, you don’t own a console, and you might not even own an official Stadia controller. But the versatility of the system is what makes it work so well, and it’s why we highly recommend any parents with young children to pick up all the Outright Games titles on the platform!
And now back to our review!
We start off our adventure on the main screen where we can select the main story mode or mini games. We start off the game on Chapter One: The Meteor with Rubble and Rocky. In this game we have more than one pup and can switch between the two. Each level has a specific number of pup treats to collect and three badges to collect. Getting all these items unlocks rewards and achievements in the game. The game is geared towards kids due to it’s simplistic nature, however anyone can have fun with it.
Ryder’s voice is a huge improvement from the last game and he no longer keeps saying the same things in every mission. This fact alone made the game more enjoyable. The game features all the pups in the gang and they are all well designed. For a children’s game they did a great job on the visuals. Although, the game is very short, I was able to complete it in under four hours; it was still fun. The adventures are extremely easy! Even my six year old was able to beat the levels with no help, which means the game was to simple.
I was able to find all the badges and pup treats on one play through, which makes the replay value extremely low. I will say the mini games were fun they consisted of the following:
- Pup Pup Boogie
- Mr. Foster’s Feast
- Obstacle Course
- Jump Rope
- Take to the Skye!
- Everest’s Snowy Adventure
- Dive In with Zuma
Each game is unique and is different in their own way, and I recommend you try them.

As the Paw Patrol games progress they are getting so much better. I have very high expectations for PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls and I am sure OG games will deliver. Playing on Xbox was smooth, had fast load times, and I never had to yelp for help. If you’re looking for a relaxing easy to play game this is it.
I am genuinely excited for so many OG games coming out, and I really can’t wait to play them all. This game was pawtastic. Enjoy and save adventure bay with your new mighty pup powers.
