When Alta happens upon a mysterious tea shop, it may be the thing that saves her. Wanderstop is a unique new game for the Xbox Series and we checked it out. How good is this game? Here’s our review!

In Wanderstop, a warrior named Alta ends up at a mysterious tea shop. Alta is dealing with a problem and working at the tea shop may be the only solution to her problem.

If it sounds like I’m being a bit vague about Wanderstop’s story, that’s because I am. I don’t want to give anything away about this game’s amazing story. I will say that it is really well written, with fantastic characters and delightful dialogue.

This game made me laugh quite a few times. Its not just funny though, its also heartbreaking and sad at times. You absolutely root for Alta and everyone else in the game. The story is the best thing about Wanderstop, though its gameplay is really good too.

While Wanderstop does have a story, its gameplay is more like a sim. You will make plants and collect tea leaves in order to help you make tea. And I don’t want to spoil the very unique device you use to create tea. Its so cool though.

You’ll also interact with characters that visit the shop and often find items that you can display too.

All of the tools you use are very easy to understand. Sometimes growing plants for teas can be a bit tricky. The game will challenge you at times to create the perfect tea for certain characters.

Wanderstop is a very relaxing game overall. It’s a game that you take at your own pace, playing it a little bit and saving or playing it a bunch. You can also fix some tea for yourself and sit down to drink it. At times, this is a very cozy game. And other times, it’ll break your heart. It looks good doing either too!

The graphics in Wanderstop are cute and very cozy for the most part. There are certain parts that are a bit darker and spooky. Also the game has some voice acting and its very good. The music in the game is excellent too.

Wanderstop is a great game. If you like simulation games and you like games with a great story, then you need this game in your life. Wanderstop is a delightful cozy game that will occasionally rip out your heart and stomp on it. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll wonder at the beauty that is Wanderstop.

Thanks to Popagenda PR for providing a digital code for this review. Wanderstop is available now for the Xbox Series.
