This week's new releases are severely lacking especially for the 2 main consoles, but Limbo comes to iOS on Wednesday so that kind of makes up for the big release short comings. The popular indie game is accompanied by some minor, small releases but hey, it's July.

Daniel Kaplan from Mojang Games, developer of the immensely popular Minecraft, today tweeted the sales figures for all 3 platforms the game resides on.

Mastertronic have today announced The Serious Sam Collection for Xbox 360.

State of Decay - the XBLA title our very own Joe Ryan described as "the zombie game that people have been asking about for ages" - has been refused classification in Australia. This is the second game in the last week to be effectively banned from sale in the country.

Australians rejoiced back in January when the Classification Board approved the selling of 18+ games. This new rating opened the doors for games such as God Of War: Ascension and Dead Island Riptide to be sold on Australian soil. And if I had, Thunder Wolves may have turned me off to the whole exercise. Thunder Wolves is a 90s style arcade helicopter game. If you are looking for some sort of helicopter simulation, you'll want to look elsewhere. This is a game about easily piloting one of the most complicated vehicles on the planet and turning everything you see into a smoking crater. Sounds great, right?

Rockstar may not have been on stage at E3 but they still made sure to leave their mark. During the announcement of the custom GTAV-branded Pulse Elite Headset for PS3 a slideshow of images could be seen over Jack Tretton's shoulder. Thankfully Rockstar were thoughtful enough to officially release the images a couple days later on their site.

State of Decay is the zombie game that is taking the world by storm, after seeming to come almost out of nowhere. With a distinct lack of marketing dollars spent on the game, it's incredible to see how word of mouth has sold so many people on surviving a zombie apocalypse. But when you actually play the game, it's easy to see why the word of mouth is so positive. Despite a few issues, State of Decay is essentially the zombie game that people have been asking about for ages.
