Barcelona, Spain - Tuesday 20th April 2021 - Having kick-started its movement to both refresh and honour the survival-horror genre with Song of Horror on PC, Raiser Games and Protocol Games are utterly spooked to announce that the game will come to both PlayStation and Xbox consoles as one single release on 28th May 2021.

MLB The Show 21 Review (PS5)

MLB The Show has had an incredible streak of consistently being one of the top hailed sports video games every single year over the last 15 years, this year’s installment continues to show why that remains true today. Some games find their formula they think works and then simply create visual enhancements or little tweaks here and there. But The Show keeps trying new things and improving on those that fans already love to begin with. This year also marks…

The PlayStation Gloom is Hilarious (But so are the Defenders)

PlayStation is doomed, and the Sony empire is going to crumble under the weight of the egos of a few executives. That’s what I’ve heard anyway. An unfortunate series of events for the blue camp has led to a troubling air of dismay, and it’s some of the PlayStation die-hard who are feeling it the worst. It seems that anytime a video game launches in 2021, we are all eager to blow through it as fast as possible. I've been ...

Avengers Is Coming to PlayStation Now – And That’s Perfect

It’s no great surprise, but Avengers is finally making it to a subscription service. The Little Game That Should’ve But Couldn’t is finally going to find the home it deserves. That’s not an insult. We are in a period of transition – the old way of selling games is dying and a new one is upon us. Not only should Avengers have started its life on PlayStation Now and Xbox Game Pass, but it probably shouldn’t ever have been sold…

It’s Time for a New Banjo-Kazooie

Banjo-Kazooie represents everything great about the golden age of Nintendo. Except for one thing: it’s owned by Microsoft. Everything about the bear and bird’s original 1998 adventure has Nintendo DNA in it. From the graphics to the sound to the gameplay, it is a first-party N64 game through and through. But it’s not 1998 anymore. Just like Banjo pushed on from Mario 64 back in the day, a top-quality Mario clone on Game Pass would need to build on what…

Australia and New Zealand Have Real Potential for the Games Industry

There’s an opportunity for games to be big in New Zealand and Australia. They’re not usually countries that we think of when we try to name development locations. Traditionally that was more based in Asia, America or central Europe. But the trade body for developers in New Zealand and Australia says there’s real potential for gaming to make a splash down under. Australia and New Zealand – Potential for Growth The Interactive Games & Entertainment Association says a push to…
