Dirt Rally Review

Authentic racing games with a tinge of arcadeness are definitely hard to find, but in reality, they are the most fun to play. Depending on how you set the difficulty, it is a game that can appeal to realistic racers and arcadey racers alike. While Dirt Rally tends to lean a bit more towards the authentic experience, it is still a fun game regardless of your skill level. Those unwilling to get in depth probably won’t find something they like…

Adam’s Venture Origins Review

Puzzle adventure games have become increasingly popular every since the launch of the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3, but only a few have risen to the top and have, in effect, dominated the genre. The Uncharted series comes to mind here, as does Lara Croft's Tomb Raider series.

Quantum Break Review

Reviewing Quantum Break is an exceptionally difficult task. Reviewing any game that stands on its narrative and story direction is incredibly hard to do. Quantum Break is that type of game, one that is driven by narrative, plots and subplots, and the options of choice. Running through the game and giving our impressions WITHOUT spoiling the story might not make for the greatest review, but it needs to be done none-the-less.

The Flame in the Flood Review

Indie games are great, and Evolve PR is one of the best at getting relevant games into the hands of the right people. Without the PR company, I may not have known The Flame in the Flood existed. That's not the companies fault, it's mine for not being aware. And I'm so damn glad I found out, because The Flame in the Flood might be one of the best sub 20.00$ games on the market. With cute graphics, and outstanding soundtrack, and lots of strategic appeal, The Flame in the Flood might be one of the best indie titles available on Xbox One this year.

Hitman Review

I cannot say I have ever been a huge fan of the Hitman franchise; I was not a fan of previous installments of the series on console, and I absolutely despised the big screen approach. However, something intrigued me by this new Hitman title that has launched on PS4 and Xbox One. Whether it was the developers constantly reminding the public that this was a different type of Hitman game, or if it was the fact that the company was releasing this episodically, something was drawing me to this game.

Rocket League Review

Games that do not require a great amount of knowledge to execute are really, REALLY fantastic. They open up video games to a much wider audience, hauling down the barriers that would otherwise prohibit someone from taking that leap of faith. These games are not bad, mind you; despite their simplicity, they generally have one, major hook: the games are easy to play, but hard to master. Rocket League is this game, and we cannot recommend it enough.

Clockwork Tales of Glass and Ink

Point and Click Games are typically seen on a desktop computer or even on a tablet and a smart phone. This time around Games Reviews received a code for Clockwork Tales of Glass and Ink available on Xbox One. The development team, Artifex Mundi, did not disappoint with this title. Clockwork Tales of Glass and Ink starts with the option to begin the game at a Normal difficulty or Expert. In order to unlock all of the achievements in one play through it is recommended to go through the game on Expert Difficulty. Expert Difficulty isn’t as hard as it sounds to ...

LEGO Marvel Avengers Review

LEGO games continue to get pumped out and I always wait for that game that proves to be a dud. It hasn't happened yet, and while parts of LEGO Marvel Avengers are less than ideal, the entire package is still above par for games released in this generation. Fighting through a number of Marvel movies with nearly 200 characters to choose from, the fun never really stops in this latest LEGO adventure.

As we follow our group of survivors we grow with them in the story and really care about their progress making the majority of the events in Dying Light deep and impacting.

King’s Quest Chapter 2: Rubble Without a Cause Review

The Odd Gentlemen picked a great time to release Chapter 2 of their Kings Quest episodic series. Right before my Christmas holidays I received my review code from the PR Agency and dove right in. I could have written the review a few weeks ago, but decided to play through the second chapter a couple times for one main reason: choices.
