Unreal 4 Games to be “Everywhere By Christmas”
The new-gen has been slowly building up over the last few months, largely with multi-gen games and indie offerings filling the gaps between big releases. It's surprising that some of these releases are still running on the Unreal Engine 3, but it won't be long until the next iteration of that engine takes to the forefront and starts showing off its new abilities.

A user on Neogaf yesterday "announced" a series of Microsoft secrets, including Halo 2 Anniversary, Crackdown 3, a Titanfall console and a cheaper Xbox One without an optical disc drive. Naturally Microsoft was unhappy with this, and Kotaku claim an anonymous source tells them they'll be trying to discover the identity of the leaker, and punish him as much as the law allows.

There have been hits in the past that Microsoft might be looking to revisit Halo 2. November 2014 will be the tenth anniversary of the best-selling sequel, so some fans might be hoping that something happens, and that it lives up to their memory of that original Xbox game. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition might seem slightly underwhelming, especially for those that completed it multiple times on PC. It wasn't always going to be that way though. Crystal Dynamics had originally considered adding extra plot to the new-gen edition, but was shot down by a Square Enix exec.
Read MoreTomb Raider: Definitive Edition Runs at 60FPS on PS4, 30FPS on One
A few weeks ago we ran a story saying that the new-gen version of Tomb Raider would run at only 30FPS. That has turned out to be only half true. On the Xbox One, 30FPS is about the limit. On PlayStation 4, you can expect anything up to 60FPS.
