LEGO Jurassic World combines everything I liked about LEGO video games and largely removes the only thing I really hated: the combat. With the focus on combat gone, Travelers Tales has given more time to environmental destruction, helpful hints for those young LEGO fans, and more puzzles to complete. Oh yes, and dinosaurs.

Over the last two weeks my experiences with Payday 2: Crimewave Edition has been loaded with wait times, frustration and a little bit of fun. There were about twenty heists, maybe more that I was never able to connect to due to server issues on Crime Net. I was still able to complete heists but not as many as I would have liked. It was only a matter of time before Xbox began unleashing specific bundles for its big 2015 releases, and it appears as if we've seen one of the first. Today, Microsoft announced the Xbox One Forza Motorsport 6 Limited Edition Console to celebrate not only the launch of the game, but also to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the franchise.

I generally hate MMO's. Let me rephrase that: I loathe MMO's. I just never saw the fun in typing to chat, spending half my game play time swapping weapons and potions, or having to find a guild to truly enjoy the game. I want to play an MMO on my own time, which sometimes is only a few hours a week. Most MMO's don't give that kind of freedom. ESO definitely does.

Beach Buggy Racing seems to be another attempt at the legendary Super Mario Kart which has a lot of upside but doesn’t live up to the legendary Mario Kart. For several years there have been a lot of publisher games trying to imitate the success but to no avail. All of the previous Kart type games and Beach Buggy Racing are good in their own way and a good alternative to Mario Kart for each of their respective consoles. Ubisoft's press conference lacked any real surprises until near the end, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Unfortunately for them, they had a tough Microsoft press conference to live up to. I think they did fairly well, despite the lack of 'exciting' announcements.

Mass Effect 4 was inevitable, but today Electronic Arts announced further details about the latest game in the franchise. The most unfortunate detail? The game isn't coming until Holiday 2016. Not 2015, 2016. That is nearly 18 months away.

Before today, I had no desire to get into virtual reality gaming, or to ever buy anyone's VR peripheral. That has all changed today. At their E3 press conference, Microsoft announced a partnership with Oculus. Each and every Oculus Rift VR headsets sold will come with an Xbox One controller. Why would we need an Xbox One controller?

At Microsoft's E3 press conference, the company announced a new Early Access program for Xbox One games in development. Coverage from various websites on this program don't appear to be in line with each other. It appears as if some are saything that this program will only apply to games developed via the ID @ Xbox program. Time will tell and hopefully we will see some clarification soon.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt delivers on almost all of its promises. For a moment, forget that the game doesn't look like the video we saw in 2013. By now, everyone needs to understand the difference between event specific videos and entire games. Despite what some may say, the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt really does look great. Sure, you might be able to find a few blemishes here and there, and outside of the larger cities, I see a lot of NPC character features used frequently. But the game, story, and RPG elements are all on the better side of great!
