Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting and Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers will all be coming to the Wii U Virtual Console this week, at least Nintendo seem to reckon so.

Excellent week this week for releases with two high profile games coming out in the next 7 days. Other releases include a couple 2D fighters and an 80s remake.

Transformers: Prime is a successful animated series that, this year, will be seeing its first TV movie. Built around a small group of kids and their relationship with the Autobots, Transformers: Prime - The Game is the first video game based around this specific area of the IP.

Nintendo Land quickly became a joke when it was first revealed. Core gamers everywhere, unconvinced by the Wii U, saw Nintendo end their E3 2012 conference on a mini-game collection built around the franchises they'd used too many times before and that was it. They couldn't understand how Nintendo could go so wrong.

Gamestop have stocked up on used copies of the extremely rare XenoBlade Chronicles for the Wii. However many suspect the games aren't used at all.

Not a great week for releases but a week which brings much variety and contrast. two Disney games, two horror games, a couple HD remakes and of course Payday 2 are just some of what you will find coming out in the next 7 days.

Only Shigeru Miyamoto could have come up with Pikmin, an often difficult real-time strategy game starring cute, altruistic plant creatures that are willing to do anything for strangers, no questions asked. The first two titles were big hits for the Gamecube, and for eight years fans have been waiting for Pikmin 3. Well, the wait is over and, at the very least, longtime fans and newcomers have another excuse to boot-up their Wii U.

Although Nintendo had previously confirmed that changes were being made to Wind Waker HD, due for release later this year, there were some people that were still a little cloudy on exact what it was they were talking about. For those of us who played it back in the day, it was pretty obvious what needed to be changed, and in today's Nintendo Direct, they confirmed, without any room for ifs and buts, that the final part of Wind Waker has been "rebalanced" for Wind Waker HD.

Nintendo have announced that they'll hold a new Nintendo Direct tomorrow. You'll be able to tune into the official Nintendo website for the latest Wii U and 3DS news at 7AM PDT, 3PM GMT. Don't get too excited though, they have already confirmed that this will be related to games releasing this year.

The Fast and the Furious films - which I've today learnt have long been cut down to just Fast and Furious - are pretty strongly focussed on a particular sort of person. It is perhaps the best example of the car porn genre, showcasing flash vehicles, sexy women and loud rap music.
