Hyrule Warriors/Zelda Musou, is a brand new action fighting game scheduled for release on the Wii U sometime in 2014, and is being developed in collaboration with Tecmo Koei, creators of the Dynasty Warriors franchise.

Warner Bros. have today announced LEGO The Hobbit, a new LEGO game based in the world of Peter Jackson's latest epic fantasy trilogy. If LEGO Lord of the Rings is anything to go by, there'll be more than enough reference to JRR Tolkien's one-film-max 1937 novel as well.

The nominees for Spike VGX awards have been announced, with Grand Theft Auto V receiving the most nominations. Masahiro Sakuarai has taken to the Miiverse to announce a brand new stage for Super Smash Brothers, due out for Wii U and 3DS next year. Based on the most critically acclaimed game of all time, Mario Galaxy, this new stage will boast a slightly change in physics designed to make you play in a different way.

The PlayStation 4 isn't available in the UK until the end of the month, and yet more people have ordered the game for the PS4 than they have for the Wii U.

It's no surprise to anybody with a brain, but Call of Duty: Ghosts appears to have done very well. They've shipped a billion dollars worth of units (some 17 million), some of which will presumably have been snapped up by consumers. That's the problem - we just don't know.

The black, 32GB Wii U Deluxe no longer comes with Nintendo Land, and is now being packaged with New Super Mario Bros. U. As an added bonus, it also comes with New Super Luigi Bros. U, which was originally released as downloadable content over the Summer.  Nintendo Land, while never receiving praise like the Wii’s pack-in game Wii Sports, was a nifty little game that featured mini-games starring famous Nintendo characters.
