It's finally coming, and I can guarantee you already that it will be awesome and definitely worth the purchase. IGN has reported that Nintendo is releasing two separate DLC packages for November 2014 and May 2015. Both packs will have new characters, karts, and tracks. And, as an added bonus, the characters won't all be from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Solid Snake might just be coming back to Smash Bros

There's a few familiar Smash Brothers characters that have so far been mysteriously missing from the roster of the 3DS and Wii U outings of the game, but Metal Gear's Solid Snake isn't one of them. While definitely a popular character, the consensus amongst fans has been that he probably won't make a comeback, because why would he? Snake hasn't been in his own game on a Nintendo platform in years, and there's no sign that that's going to change. Don't get rid of all your doubts just yet, but new evidence on the official Smash Bros site might indicate the ...

Hyrule Warriors just launched in Japan to much fan fair and Nintendo was quick to make sure a collectors edition was available. Included with the collectors edition was an art book, and inside the art book, an artistic rendition of Link as a female. A New Era for Club Nintendo

Club Nintendo, which launched in North America in 2008, has been the go to place for Nintendo gamers to get their hands one exclusive Nintendo themed items otherwise not available to the general public. It is also a way of rewarding loyal Nintendo fans. These rewards have always ranged form the practical - a WiiMote holder capable of holding 4 WiiMotes vertically - to the useless. However the rewards have almost always been exclusive, which makes them oddly attractive regardless of what they are.

Hyrule Warriors Nintendo Direct

Last night was Nintendo's direct focused specifically on Hyrule Warriors. Last week, I wrote about my hands on time with Hyrule Warriors. One of the things I heard from many people was that this game was bound to be boring. Well, after this direct, that has to change for almost everyone.

Are Nintendo Directs Beneficial?

I've always been a firm believer that when Nintendo releases one of their Nintendo Directs, the content is interesting, and generally, will sell me on one of their products. However, I heard an alternate opinion today that made me rethink these videos. Is there such thing as too much information when it comes to Nintendo Directs?

Hyrule Warriors – Hands-on Preview

The new Legend of Zelda adventure game is not due out until 2015 (potentially 2016!?) and it appears as if Nintendo did not want such a lengthy departure from the series on its console. Cue Hyrule Warriors. If you have played any of the Dynasty Warriors games, you are essentially looking at Dynasty Warriors: Hyrule Edition. If you haven't played any of the Dynasty Warriors titles, imagine yourself, along with a few armed friends, attacking hundreds of enemies in an open area. One could imagine that a series as popular as Dynasty Warriors, coupled with the ...
