Aside from a few new kits there is nothing new or game changing about EA latest handheld offering.

Minecraft was a pretty prominent announcement for the Xbox One at E3. You only have to look at the sales figures to see that people are willing to buy the indie hit wherever it lands, and a version for next-gen consoles will be a must for many. It won't only be coming to Xbox One though, as tonight Sony announced Minecraft PS4.

There's never been a better time to get into the PlayStation "ecosystem," a word used several times in tonight's Sony GamesCom conference. It was at that conference that both the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 3 received price drops.

Call of Duty: Ghosts may just be coming to PlayStation Vita. Gamestop Spain have posted a listing for a Vita version of this year's biggest arcade shooter, listing it at 45 euros. Of course, this might be a mistake on their part - a tick box ticked where no tick should be. That isn't always the case though, and it wouldn't be the first time that a retailer has revealed a game ahead of its official announcement.

Excellent week this week for releases with two high profile games coming out in the next 7 days. Other releases include a couple 2D fighters and an 80s remake.

The original Epic Mickey was fairly well received when it was released on the Wii in 2010. It was well received enough that its sequel, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, was released across four different platforms. Despite very average reviews and disappointing sales, The Power of Two still managed to make it to the PlayStation Vita late last month. Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition was the recent re-release of Duke Nukem 3D, available through Steam with a handful of bonus features. Achievements, reworked visuals and smoothed out gameplay all made one of the classic FPS experiences more enjoyable to a modern audience, while a handful of bonus expansions available through the game itself was enough to excite old fans all over again. There was also a DosBox version of the original Duke Nukem 3D included as well.

Not a great week for releases but a week which brings much variety and contrast. two Disney games, two horror games, a couple HD remakes and of course Payday 2 are just some of what you will find coming out in the next 7 days.

Also known as Stealth Bastard, this quirky, charming puzzle/stealth platformer is filled up to the brim with personality. The developers make this incredibly clear through sarcastic, subliminal messages throughout the course of the game... and they don’t go easy on you. This is by no means bad criticism. On the contrary, messages likes ‘You’re not too bright are you?’ and ‘Was I not clear enough?’ spread very cleverly across the game making the player want to surpass the ingenuity of each level and strive towards that magnificently brutal ‘S’ ranking.
