71004 Large Tractor Playmobil Review
Throughout the renovations happening in my house, the one constant for my 3 year old son Lincoln has been the opportunity to review Playmobil sets! Today, we are taking a look at the Large Tractor set, number 71004. The large tractor is, well, large! It comes with two bails of hay, a number of tractor attachments, and a character to play with. We have other tractors that we purchased on our own a few years ago, so how does this one hold up against those? Let's take a look!

I’ve really enjoyed games produced by Pandasaurus Games, so when the opportunity came to check out their latest, a 2-Player re-launch of Sobek, I couldn’t wait to dive in. The backstory for the game is pretty straightforward, “Sobek awaits the creation of a grand temple in his honor to be built in Faiyum. To support the construction, a huge market has emerged, bustling with rich goods. You and your opponent will vie to take advantage of this opportunity. Sobek will…

I’m fairly positive there is a lengthy backstory to the Dino Rise Playmobil series, but I’d be lying to you if I told you I knew what it was. Because I don’t. However, with a name like, “Battle for the Legendary Stones,” you know it’s going to be something good. While we had no context for what this storyline might be, we did what we do best when we have a lot of Playmobil at our disposal! We improvise and…

Smaller Playmobil sets are a real joy to review. They are so affordable and easy to recommend, plus they make great additions to existing Playmobil sets, if you have something that fits the theme. Thankfully we did, and were able to pair the Duck on Call: Fire Rescue Action: Cat Rescue with some of our other Playmobil city sets. But is there enough here to justify the $26.99 CAD price point? Let’s take a look! Included Pieces: 1 Freddy Fire,…

Playmobil seems to be better than most companies when releasing products that are useable by more than one person. As the world of toys has gone over the past half decade, toys are becoming – and are launching – as more singular experiences as opposed to something that can be shared. With Playmobil, all the sets seem to be shareable with a friend, and if they aren’t, Playmobil has an inexpensive alternative! Our friends at Playmobil sent over two smaller…

LEGO Super Mario has been insanely popular, and while I thought only the specialized sets would sell well – the ? Mark Cube and the LEGO NES – it seems that all the LEGO Mario sets are selling really well. So it comes as no surprise that the two companies are once again launching a brand new LEGO Super Mario set for fans to buy and build, this time centred around everyone’s favourite nemesis, the one and only Bowser! Launching…

We have been reviewing a number of Playmobil sets on the site over the past year or so, and the company is ready to announce their next big series. This time around, the new playsets – under th theme Wiltopia – are being made with 80% sustainable materials! This move towards a more eco friendly production plan is such a fantastic, industry leading practice that I hope more companies adopt. And there is no better way to launch this new…

Every once in a while a game hits the board game industry that is so popular, it not only sells out everywhere, but it also gets spinoff releases based on various popular intellectual properties. And that game over the past half decade or so has been Love Letter. While standard Love Letter is a lot of fun, you can now get Batman Love Letter, The Hobbit Love Letter, Marvel Love Letter, and so many more. While each version might give…

Finding games that I actually want to play with my kids can be pretty hard as most games geared towards younger ages are pretty boring, lackluster, or I’ve played them way to much. Every once in a while a new game will come around that offers a lot of promise, and generally delivers a fun experience for all involved. While Box Monster didn’t quite hit that high for me, it is still an excellent game my kids have enjoyed over…
