When it comes to kart racing games, Mario Kart has been on top since the beginning, and while others have made valiant attempts at gaining ground and potentially taking over the franchise juggernaut, they always fall short in a few specific ways, creating a good, but not a great, racing experience. For once, the tables might have turned, as Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled (Crash Team Racing from here on out) is easily the best Crash Team Racing title ever released, and rivals Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in many ways! Nintendo LABO has been a fairly successful franchise for Nintendo ever since it was announced and released in 2018. The LEGO Movie 2 was a fantastic experience when I went and saw it in theatres, and whenever there is a great cinema experience, there are high hopes for the LEGO game that spins off from that. A comic-styled indie puzzle game, Valiant Hearts: The Great War follows four characters who find themselves caught up in the middle of the First World War. The game is inspired by real events that occurred in Europe betweeen 1914 and 1918 as well as actual letters that were sent during the war. Initially released in 2014, the Nintendo Switch port hit the shelves last November. Steel your nerves and get ready for all of the feels, as Valiant Hearts promises to be one seriously emotional experience!

Finally, the wildly popular space-shooter roguelike Everspace has made its way to the Nintendo Switch! Originally released in May 2017, Everspace is a beautifully minimalistic roguelike adventure game. Produced and developed by veteran indie developer ROCKFISH Games, Everspace utilizes the Unreal Engine 4 and has snagged many awards since its initial release. It was released for the Nintendo Switch late last year, and we have eagerly waiting to get our hands on it ever since. I can't wait to see how this port fairs on the Switch, so let's get right to it!
