The common theme I've been seeing on social media regarding Golf Story seems to follow this trend: Person 1 - Golf Story is soooo good! Person 2 - I don't like golf games. There are few video games on the market that can really give you a strong feeling of relaxation, but farming simulation and that ilk of game often rise to the top and become the ultimate relaxation experience. Until Friday, that game over the last year or two has been Stardew Valley, the perfect way to blow off 30 minutes of my day while relaxing, not really worrying to much about what's going on outside of the game, or within the game for that matter. So the Indie world showcase has come and gone, here is a breakdown of what was announced. Overall I think a decent showing with a few standouts but nothing earth shattering right now. Clearly some great filler games coming this year with almost all of them coming to Switch console first.
