What you find in Code Name S.T.E.A.M*. is not your usual London. Instead, you'll find a London powered by steam, full of aliens and...Abraham Lincoln? Yup, this iconic America hero, as well as many other real and fictional characters, all team up to rid London of the nasty alien pests; while this sounds completely wacky - which it is - it also works really well, making it one of the best turn based games I've played in a long time.

Card games are great fun when played with friends, but I've never really felt that they have translated well to consoles. Many have tried, but few have been really successful. Hand of Fate is a mash-up between a card game and a hack and slash game and it works really well. Although there are a number of frame rate and lag issues, Hand of Fate is still an excellent experience on Xbox One.

There's a lot to like when playing The Escapists on Xbox One, and very few issues stand in the way of what will most definitely be an excellent release on Xbox One and Steam. I received a copy of the game from the publishers, Team 17 - yes, the Worms people - and got right to work. I was not disappointed.

Recently action-adventure rogue-like games have made a huge comeback. With notable successes recently such as The Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, this game-type is seeing resurgence. The most recent in the line is Overture. Allowing the player to control a 16-bit hero and navigate them through randomly generated dungeons across the world, Overture is fun, fast-paced, and non-stop action.

The combination of wit and traps are the only way to stop the flood of monsters that are breaching our world. The job of guarding against these beasts is a rough one, but these defenders are the worlds only hope. The Wii U gamepad is severely underutilized on the system, and very few game creators outside of Nintendo are trying to use it as more than just an away-from-TV screen. Developer Nnooo, however, has attempted to do so with their latest release, Cubemen 2. I reviewed Cubemen 2 on the Wii U, but after playing just one match on the PC once I was done with the Wii U version, I knew I was playing the wrong version.

Naval combat is sorely underdone in video games for a multitude of reasons. The sea isn't perhaps the most engaging of environments, due in no small part to the over-abundance of blue, and actually having your boats interact with it realistically is a challenge. Does 'Victory At Sea' bring enough to the table to provide us the spectacle and awe that naval combat deserves?

Dozens of overpriced mobile ports get released on Steam every month. Frontline: Road to Moscow is no different. The game was originally available on the Appstore in July before being ported to PC. The game is a turn-based strategy title that has you control the German army and, as the title suggests, you have to make your way to Moscow by capturing every town in your way.

It's not easy, being a delivery boy in the future. While today the worst you might come across is aggressive dogs or mustachioed old ladies frightened to open the door in case you're a little bit "ethnic," in the future you'll actually have people trying to kill you. Which is fine, because at least then you know where you stand. In Space Run your goal is to reach your destination as quickly and as safely as possible. Only one thing is certain: it ain't gonna be easy.

Panzer Tactics HD is a tactical World War 2 game. The game features a turn based system in which you can move your units around or attack targets within range. There are 3 different campaigns, each with a different army at your command. You can play as the Allies, Axis or Soviets. Each campaign has its own difficulty, Axis being the easiest and Allies being the hardest.
