Team up with friends, take on daily challenges, and climb to the top of the corporate firefighting ladder. More than one way to become a hero! Death Stranding Directors Cut Review (PS5)

From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes a genre-defying experience, now expanded and remastered for PS5 in this definitive DIRECTOR’S CUT. In the future, a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society. As Sam Bridges (Played by Norman Reedus), your mission is to deliver hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a…

Psychonauts 2 Review

The wait has been enough to drive a person crazy, but Psychonauts 2 is finally available to play. The beloved indie darling has lost none of its charm being developed by a now fully-fledged Microsoft studio. Instead, it’s a must-play platformer that justifies itself over and over again. Because realistically, a sequel to Psychonauts could have been a disaster. Reviving any classic is tough, especially when there was only ever one entry. But Double Fine have succeeded, and we’re all…

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 Review (PS5)

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 marks the most challenging entry to the acclaimed series yet, introducing extreme long-range sniping with targets over 1000m away. Marvel’s Avengers: War for Wakanda Review

In the latest DLC expansion for Marvel’s Avengers (after an insanely long marketing campaign advertising this), we finally get to visit Wakanda. I have been a fan of this game since it first came out for its SINGLE player campaign and story. I think it’s one of the better-written stories we have seen in a Marvel game ever, the main problem with the game is the shoe-horning of multiplayer which isn’t really needed at all. This latest installment has us…

Outriders Review

Outriders is a very interesting experiment and take on multiplayer gaming, while not a game as a service it would be interesting to see if they offer anything beyond the campaign down the line because there is nothing there to drive me to get better loot or return to the game outside of creating a new character of a different class. But it is a very FUN game to play with friends if nothing else really grabs you about it. Plus it was an excellent addition to Gamepass, which is definitely helping the player count I think a lot. I definitely think this is a ...

Observer: System Redux Review (PS5)

Observer is a psychological horror video game played from a first-person perspective. The player controls Daniel Lazarski, a Krakowian detective of the Observers police unit. He can hack people’s brain implants with a device known as the Dream Eater, for interrogation purposes. Equipped with augmented vision split into Electromagnetic Vision—which scans for electronic devices—and Bio Vision—which scans for biological evidence —he can analyze and highlight certain objects in his environment. Objects can be interacted with and examined, while dialogue ...

Curved Space Review (Xbox Series)

Curved space is a new take on the familiar twin stick shoot-em up, with a kicking soundtrack and unique gameplay style, but is it enough? Curved Space is an intense arcade-style twin-stick shooter that takes the classic formula and plunges it into the weirdest reaches of space. Battle cosmic space-invading spiders across curved landscapes where bullets hug the terrain while the horizon drops sharply out of sight. Inspired by arcade classics, players will have to hunt for weapon power-ups and…

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Review (PS5)

Ratchet & Clank have been a staple for the Playstation for many years now, Rift Apart takes that same formula, humor, and fun we know and love and puts that next-gen polish on it that only Playstation 5 can provide and makes a basically perfect game.   The game begins with a giant parade celebrating the heroics of Ratchet & Clank over the years. You travel from giant parade balloon to balloon as they give you a brief overview of…

Final Fantasy VII Remake – Intermission Review

It’s been a 24-year wait, but Final Fantasy VII’s new piece of story DLC – Intermission – shows us exactly what Yuffie was up to before she joined our party. God, 1997 suddenly feels a long, long time ago. Of course, it looks a bit better than it would have done 24 years ago – it’s probably one of the standout titles on PS5 today. It also continues one of my favourite things about Final Fantasy VII Remake – the…
