Harvest Moon: One World – Know What You Are Getting Into
When I think about a Harvest Moon style game - whether it be this franchise or Story of Seasons or Stardew Valley - I quickly form a quick perceived understanding of what that game will be all about. Outside of a few new items that ultimately get added with each experience, I'm going to be planting fields, tending to animals, and finding a spouse. If you go into Harvest Moon: One World with that thought, you might be sadly disappointed.

Story Driven Harvest Moon a Far Cry from Original Concept
Harvest Moon: One World has been out for almost a week, and after much time with the game, it has become very apparent that this Harvest Moon is a far cry from the original cutesy farming simulation concept. While Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town has done a great job of incorporating new ideas while maintaining the standard farming practices, Harvest Moon: One World has gone a different route, and it somewhat pays off.

Game Guides: How The Art of Cheating Has Disappeared
My office is filled with books and on the bottom shelf is a treasure trove of old game guides. I’ll never need to know how to win at Gangsters again, but it’s there, ready for an emergency. Can Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons Coexist in the Same Launch Window?
Once both Harvest Moon: One World and Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town launch in March 2021, the next few months are going to be very interesting for both franchises. In my opinion, as someone who has invested dozens upon dozens of hours into these types of games, it's pretty difficult to have multiple different games on the go, and when you do, one will always take precedents.
