The Angry Birds 2 Movie: Under Pressure VR

When the publisher of The Angry Birds 2 Movie: Under Pressure VR asked if I wanted to review a copy of Angry Birds VR on PlayStation VR, without looking up trailers or videos, I was pretty sure I knew what this was going to be. With no movie knowledge, I figured I was in for Angry Birds, but in VR. You know, launching birds at structures and pigs. Well, I was wrong, but it all worked out in the end.…

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Review

Final Fantasy VIII is the most underrated FF game on the Playstation 1. The game tried new things and those new things were quickly done away with when the next game came. Many people did not like FFVIII at all during the Playstation 1 era. I loved it. And now Final Fantasy VIII is back as Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for the Playstation 4. What do I think of the game now? Is it still worth checking out? Final Fantasy…

Erica Review

Erica for the Playstation 4 uses real actors and real settings to tell an interactive story. You can use either the PS4’s touchpad or a smartphone to interact with objects, dialogue, and people. For this review, I used the PS4’s touchpad. The game warns you that a smartphone will give you a better play experience. I don’t own a cellphone at all. So I had no choice but to use the PS4’s touchpad. The following review is based on that…

Fan Expo PlayStation Booth – Upcoming PlayStation Exclusives

Last weekend, PlayStation invited us to a sneak preview of their Fan Expo booth in Toronto and a chance to experience a wide range of PlayStation titles either recently released or coming out in the near future. By far the biggest names among these were Marvel’s Iron Man VR, a PSVR exclusive slated to come out this fall, and Final Fantasy VIII – Remastered which comes out September 3rd. It was quite a treat to be able to experience these and other PlayStation games before their release, and the PlayStation booth at Fan Expo was the perfect venue for them.

Need for Speed™ Heat Official Reveal Trailer

Need for Speed: Heat was revealed today for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the reveal trailer below. Need for Speed is an arcade racer, much like Burnout. I prefer Burnout but Need for Speed is pretty cool too. I’m glad to see arcade racers like this are still around. I do wish it was coming to the Nintendo Switch though. That said, Need for Speed Heat’s reveal trailer didn’t announce a release date nor did it…

Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers – A Guide to Odd Times (Trailer)

Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers is an upcoming turn-based rpg from NIS America. The setting and characters remind me a lot of Earthbound. Check out the game’s newest trailer to get a look at it and then please come back for more thoughts from me about Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers! I played a little bit of a Japanese demo of Destiny Connect. Unfortunately, the demo was all in Japanese, so I couldn’t understand what was going on. I did like the…
