The team behind Velocity 2X, Futurlab, will be announcing another project today. The announcement will happen at the PlayStation Blog at 4pm BST and will no doubt continue their tradition of creating addictive, modern takes on classic genres. Aside from the fact that the announcement is happening - shared by James Marsden on Twitter - no other information about the new project has been announced.

Kingdom Hearts 3 had a brief showing earlier this year, but it was hardly enough to make up for the long wait since Kingdom Hearts 2's release in 2004. Don't worry though, we'll have another short glimpse of the game next week, Tetsuya Nomura has revealed.

Although those that ordered their PlayStation 4 with Amazon before August 6th are guaranteed their console at launch, the Online retailer isn’t so sure about those who pre-ordered after that date. At this point they’re saying “as soon as possible,” in the order that they were pre-ordered, although they’re only willing to guarantee that you’ll receive your order by Christmas. This was made clear in the FAQ on the bundle upgrade page, now available to those that originally just pre-ordered…

GAME have today been calling around those that had registered an interest, sharing the prices you might be expecting to pay if you buy a PlayStation 4 in store on launch day. They also announced which accessories they'd be stocking and how much they'd be charging for them.

Hideo Kojima and Konami have revealed some new Ground Zeroes gameplay at TGS this morning. It shows off what an actual sneaking mission may be like, without any fast forwards or pre-played gameplay. This is as close as we'll get to actually playing the game for what may be some time, so this is definitely one to cherish.

Sucker Punch, creators of Infamous: Second Son, have released a trailer today showcasing exactly what they have been doing to integrate the touchpad in many innovative ways.

Sony announced at GameCom that players who buy select titles on their current console will be able to upgrade their copy to a digital PS4 counter-part for as little as $10.

Minecraft was a pretty prominent announcement for the Xbox One at E3. You only have to look at the sales figures to see that people are willing to buy the indie hit wherever it lands, and a version for next-gen consoles will be a must for many. It won't only be coming to Xbox One though, as tonight Sony announced Minecraft PS4.
