Cross-gen games are definitely going to be a thing in the first year of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, especially from third party developers. The latest to be added to the list of maybes (along with The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V) is Tomb Raider, which Amazon have listed for the PlayStation 4.

  The Playstation 4 broke the 1 million units sold mark in 24 hours. Since the system isn’t available in Europe yet (it will be on November 29, Februrary 2014 in Japan), this number only refers to North American retail sales. It's time for that irregular check-in, folks. The Last Guardian is still in development, is in a playable state and, according to Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, "looks pretty."

The most exciting news of last night (bar none) was almost definitely that PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners will be getting a bonus mission in the rather exciting Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. This mission, titled Déjà Vu, puts you in the role of "Classic Snake," the pixelated hero of Metal Gear Solid, and pits you against Genome soldiers in a Shadow Moses-esque setting.

There won't be a specific Facebook app for PlayStation 4, despite the fact that you have the option to tie the social network into the OS. Why? Because maintaining an app is difficult and the PlayStation 4 browser is "pretty pleasant."

Rayman Legends will be making the jump to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in February 2014, Ubisoft have today revealed. The sequel to Rayman Origins and one of the best platform games of the year was previously released on Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Vita.
