It may be a few years late, and a completely different game to that we were expecting, but Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is finally making it to the PlayStation 3. The PS3 release will coincide with the PC re-release. The MMO has something of an infamous past, in which the game was released to complete critical failure and then basically remade from the ground up. A slightly more solid release window is a hint that things are well on their way to improving within the world of Eorzea.

By way of a teaser trailer on YouTube, Insomniac Games have announced that the Ratchet & Clank Movie will be hitting theatres in 2015. A Facebook page, Twitter account and a website have also been created in conjunction with the announcement of the film.

Often called the very best of the HD re-releases, the Metal Gear Solid collection is a must-buy for fans of the series, for fans of the stealth genre and for anybody that enjoys storytelling and excellent gameplay within gaming. Following the recent release of Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 in Japan , Namco Bandai took the opportunity to announce that their game has shipped over 1.2 million copies worldwide. This is the fastest selling game in the franchise so far. Deadly Premonition was something of a mixed bag when it was first released on Xbox 360 in 2010. While much of what made it a game - the graphics and controls specifically - suffered from a severe ability to underwhelm, the story and depth of the characters in the world were pretty much unlike anything else available. Like Twin Peaks with a touch of The X-Files, it managed to make you invest in the people of Greenvale regardless of the roughness of the gameplay itself. In a recent Playstation Blog post Content Manager Chris Howe revealed the content available for PS+ members in May. From May 1st, PS+ Subscribers will get the excellent (and pretty recent) Hitman: Absolution and the quirky puzzle/horror game Catherine completely free. Other free titles available to download in May include the action-packed adventure Malicious and PS Vita players will get a side-scrolling shoot-em-up called Sine Mora and Velocity.

With largely positive reviews, this is a title that might just be worth looking into. The GamesReviews review is 8.0/10.
